How Do I Request a Plan Check
Application Submittal
Please refer to the
document library for the plan check requirements for your type of project. You may also contact Building & Safety staff at (909) 350-7640 for plan check questions. Generally, new construction requires seven sets of the building plans to be submitted with the specifications for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment (with blueprint drawings). Any structural calculations needed to verify that the proposed construction meets the minimum requirements of safety must also be included.
A plan check deposit (fee) is required at the time the plans are submitted. For more information on plan checks, please contact the Building & Safety Department at (909) 350-7640.
