Responsibilities
The Records Unit is responsible for:

• Data entry
• Disseminating copies to appropriate persons
• Obtaining statistical information
• Tracking and processing all police reports

Obtaining Reports
Copies of police reports are $18. Obtain more information on how to get a copy of a police report.

Records Check for Immigration
If you need a records check for Immigration, there is a $16 charge. You must provide photo identification. Only Fontana records will be searched. If you wish to obtain state clearance, please contact the Department of Justice. Immigration letters can only be requested in person.
