I’m
a new vendor what do I need to do?
Welcome
to the City of Fontana vendor program. As a new member of the program
you will be required to complete a few required paperwork items
to reserve a booth space at this year’s festival.
Complete the Special Activity
Permit Form. If you would like to become a vendor for this event
only, complete the form and bring the form into our Recreation Office.
The office is located at:
9460 Sierra Avenue
Fontana, CA 92335
and is open
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.
A
$25.00 fee will be required per booth space for the event. All monies
must be submitted in person and paid via check, money order, or
credit card. Mail in registration will not be accepted.
All vendors are required to pre-register for all City of Fontana
events and registration will not be taken during the festival.
Vendors who wish to attend more than one event within the next year
may wish to take out a City of Fontana business license in lieu
of a special activity permit. Business licenses are good for one
year from date of purchase and allow vendors to attend City of Fontana
sponsored events free of charge.
Business License fees are determined by tax schedules and run between
$40 to $185. For more information about taking out a City of Fontana
business license contact: Doug Johnson at (909) 428-8360 ext. 244.
Vendor spaces will be assigned on the day of the event. Please review
Festival Registration Deadlines.
Political Booths
Festivals
have been host to several political booths over the years. To create
a well balanced vendor/political booth environment, political booths
will be required to adhere to the following guidelines:
-
Political vendors will be limited to two booth spaces per political
candidate.
-
Political booths will contain information on one (1) political
candidate.
-
Political booths will be mixed in with craft vendors.
All political booths must be pre-registered.
Where
is my booth space?
All
event booth spaces will be assigned by the event coordinator. Booth
spaces are assigned based on Health Department guidelines, event
activities, and park landscape.
Event vendors are instructed to check in at the event information
booth upon arrival to locate their booth space. Vendors will not
be permitted to drive on the park grounds. As a result it is suggested
that vendors bring their own carts, dollies, or wagons to transport
items.
Vendor set-up will begin early the day of the event. You will be
advised of the exact time when you register. Due to participant
safety, vendors who arrive after the event begins will not be permitted
to set up their booth.
Reminder—No vehicles are permitted on park property.
