Art Association Offers Creative Fun for Children with Special Needs

Fontana,
California, March 15, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite caregivers of youth ages 4-10 with special
needs to register for the all new Creative Crafts for Kids for $60 for four weeks. Class begins Wednesday,
April 2 at the Fontana Art Association, 8536 Sierra Avenue. Each session is taught by a certified FUSD Special
Education teacher with 22 years of experience.
This new class for children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities
has been structured so students have fun while being introduced to the world of art. The format will encourage
the participants to develop language, social and motor skills while completing crafts, singing songs, and eating
nutritious snacks.

Art Association also offers a Beginning Ceramics class that is open to all residents for $50 for five
weeks.
