Gymnastics
at Don Day Neighborhood Center

Fontana,
California, September 15, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public
to register for upcoming classes for Gymnastics Level I and 2 for
ages 6 and older on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 pm or 5 to 6 pm beginning September 24. Tiny
Stars Gymnastics is also available on Fridays for ages 3 to 5 from 10 to
10:45 or 11 to 11:45 am on September 26. Each class is held at the Don Day Neighborhood
Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue for $30 for 4 weeks.
Gymnastics Level 1 and 2 offers beginning to advanced gymnasts
a variety of moves ranging from beginning tumbling to advanced routines. Students learn
about the balance beam, floor, skills, uneven parallel bars, and more.
Tiny Stars Gymnastics emphasizes flexibility, gross motor skills,
muscular strength and more. The students learn using specialized pre-K gymnastics equipment,
obstacle course, balance beams, bars, and floor exercise. Students must be able to follow
directions and listen to the instructor without parental participation.
