Fontana,
California, September 18, 2008. The Mayor and City Council announce
the start of construction for the Citrus Avenue Median Improvement Project.
The construction of the median will enhance the traffic circulation and provide
areas for landscaping. The landscape will be constructed by a separate contract
in the future. This project is funded by City and Federal Grant Funds.
The construction contract for this project has been awarded
to Hillcrest Contracting, Inc. The project is expected to begin construction
early October 2008 and is expected to be completed in December of 2008. Please
use alternate routes as there may be lane closures during working hours due
to the construction operations in this area. Please check the City website
