Dance Classes: A Fitness Alternative

Fontana,
California, April 21, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite residents to get ready for summertime
fun and recreational activities by registering today for upcoming fitness alternatives in the form of fun dancing
classes. Dance classes are available at the Cypress Neighborhood Center located at 8380 Cypress Avenue, the Don
Day Neighborhood Center located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue, the Heritage Neighborhood Center located at 7350 W.
Liberty Parkway, and the Jack Bulik Teen Center located at 16581 Filbert Street.
The Cypress Center, located in Fontana’s core offers Hip Hop ($25 for 4 weeks), Ballet/Tap/Jazz ($30
for 4 weeks), Let’s Dance Pre-Intermediate ($30 for 4 weeks) Mexican Folk Dance ($15 for 4 weeks), Middle Eastern/Tribal
Belly Dancing ($24 for 4 weeks), and Polynesian ($25 for 4 weeks). Classes begin soon. Please call (909) 428-8374

The Don Day Neighborhood Center, located South of Interstate 10 offers Kids Hip Hop ($30 for
4 weeks), Teen Hip Hop ($30 for 4 weeks), Dance, Dance, Dance ($35 for 4 weeks), Mexican Folk Dance ($15 for
4 weeks), Salsa/Cha-Cha & Merengue ($36 for 4 weeks), and Middle Eastern/ Belly Dance ($25 for 4 weeks). Please

The Heritage Neighborhood Center located in the Northwest area of Fontana offers Cultural
Exploration of Latin America a study in dance and culture ($15 for 4 weeks), and Latin Dance which includes Salsa,

Jack Bulik Teen Center conveniently situated in the core area next to the Jack Bulik Park
and Paul Biane Sports Pavilion offers Cheer Classes ($25 for 4 weeks) and Hip Hop Classes ($25 for 4 weeks).
