Fontana,
California, September 15, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite families with
budding actors to register for the upcoming acting classes at the Heritage Neighborhood
Center, located at 7350 W. Liberty Parkway. Tiny Tots Theater for
ages 4 to 7 is $30 for 4 weeks on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:15 pm. Lights,
Camera, Action! is $50 for 4 weeks for ages 6 to 9 on Tuesdays from 6 to
7 pm or for ages 10 to 17 from 7 to 8 pm. Both classes begin Tuesday, September 23.
Tiny Tots Theater introduces young children to performances
before an audience. Topics include following directions, basic acting, and technique
memorization. Quarterly stage performances are given to friends and family of the students.
Lights, Camera, Action! is for those who are interested in
working in the entertainment industry. Topics include stage presentation, auditioning
techniques, relation, cold-reading, and memorization. The class includes a miniature
photo shoot and video taping session. A $5 supply fee is due to the instructor at the
first class.
