Heritage
offers exploration of science

Fontana,
California, October 1, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to
register for upcoming classes in science and technology. The Heritage Neighborhood Center,
located at 7350 West Liberty Parkway. Classes offer a new perspective on learning for
students of all ages. From Crazy Chemworks to Academy
for Future Space Explorers there is something for all students to discover.
Crazy Chemworks is $114 for 8 weeks beginning Monday, October
20 at 6 pm for grades 2nd through 12th. Participants will become lab scientists in training
as they learn laboratory techniques and use lab equipment. Each class ends with a demonstration
by the instructor.
Academy for Future Space Explorers is at 7 pm for $114 for
8 weeks beginning Monday, October 20 for students in 2nd to 12th grade. Mad Science and
NASA have teamed to bring the wonders of space to the Academy and includes activities
from NASA Langley Center.
