Time to get technical

Fontana, California, September 15, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to register for upcoming Tech Zone instructional classes at the Heritage Neighborhood Center, located at 7350 W. Liberty Parkway. Aged based classes are available for anyone 5 and older. Times and prices vary. All classes are held on Tuesdays beginning September 23.

Adult Tech Zone for ages 16 and older introduces the keyboard, speed typing, Microsoft Office Suite, and HTML. The class is $40 for 4 weeks from 7 to 8 pm.

Kid/Teen Tech Zone for ages 8 to 15 introduces speed typing, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet. The class offers instructions for creating a slide show, write books, and research. The class is $40 for 4 weeks from 6 to 7 pm.

Pee Wee Tech Zone for ages 5 to 7 introduces proper keyboarding techniques, Microsoft Word, and parts of the hardware. The class is from 5 to 6 pm and is $30 for 4 weeks.
