Dance
classes for all ages in Fontana

Fontana,
California, September 22, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite
students of all ages to register for upcoming dance classes in downtown Fontana. Latin
Dance for ages 12 to 60 is available at the Josephine Knopf Senior
Center, located at 8384 Cypress Avenue from 7 to 8 pm on Wednesdays beginning
October 1 for $36 for 4 weeks. Let’s Dance Pre-Intermediate on
Saturdays is available at the neighboring Cypress Center for $30 for 4 weeks
beginning September 27. Classes for ages 3 to 4 are available from 8:05 to
9 am, ages 5 to 7 from 9:05 to 10 am, ages 8 to 14 from 10:05 to 11:00 am,
and ages 9 to 18 from 11:05 am to 1 pm.
Latin Dance will introduce students to the styles
of Salsa, Cha-Cha, and Merengue. With upbeat rhythm and energized movements,
everyone is sure to have fun.
Let’s Dance Pre-Intermediate invites youth to explore
ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap. Music features classical and modern styles.
Students will have an opportunity to participate in theater performances and
competitions. Leotards, tights, ballet slippers, and tap shoes are required.
