Sewing classes now available in Fontana

Fontana, California, September 22, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite adults to register for the upcoming Introduction to Sewing and Sewing Level II at the Josephine Knopf Senior Center, located at 8384 Cypress Avenue. Each class is $40 for 6 weeks beginning Tuesday, October 7. The introductory class is from 1 to 3 pm and Level II is from 2 to 5 pm.

Introduction to Sewing
teaches those new to sewing or who need a refresher course how to properly operate, clean, and maintain a sewing machine. Small projects will be given to students as they learn and master new skills.

Sewing Level II is a more advanced class that offers pattern directions, fabric selection, and garment construction.
