The Mayor and City Council invite the public to participate in Halloween events hosted at various community centers throughout the City. All events are free and take place on October 31 unless otherwise stated.
The Don Day neighborhood Center is hosting a Halloween Carnival for ages 0 – 12 years. From 4:00 to 6:30 pm stop by the Don Day Center at 14501 Live Oak Avenue to participate in the costume contest, visit the game booths and enjoy the Halloween entertainment! For more info call (909) 428-8383.
The Jack Bulik Teen Center, located at 16581 Filbert Street, is hosting a family-friendly Haunted House from October 26 to 31 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a Halloween Carnival on October 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Haunted House features spooks and scares for teens and adults while remaining friendly enough for children. The Halloween Spooktacular takes place at the Heritage Neighborhood Center, 7350 W. Liberty Parkway, from 4:00 - 6:30 pm. The event offers fun activities for the entire family in a friendly, safe and supervised environment. Activities at this year’s event include a costume contest, Haunted House, games, arts & crafts, roving magician & juggler entertainment, tractor hay rides, candy giveaway and much more. At the Jessie Turner Community Center, experience the excitement of the 2nd annual Chillz and Thrillz Halloween event. The JT Center is located at 15556 Summit Avenue. This Halloween event takes place from 4:00 to 6:30 pm features a costume contest, games, trick or treating and entertainment.
Also at the Jessie Turner Community Center is Halloween Howl. Taking place at the dog park on October 24 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm, the Halloween Howl will have a dog costume contest, games and trick or treating for your canine. For additional info, call the JT Center at (909) 854-5100.
