Accepting Applications for Senior Talent Showcase
“Parade of Talent”
Fontana, California. The Mayor and City Council invite the public and seniors to participate in the 3rd Annual “Parade of Talent” Senior Talent Showcase co-sponsored by Inter Valley Health Plan. To obtain an application visit the Josephine Knopf Senior Center located at 8384 Cypress Ave. Applications for those interested in showcasing their talent are now being accepted. The application deadline is August 27. Auditions for final acts will be held September 9, 1:00 p.m. at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium. Final acts will be determined by a selection committee.
The Senior Talent Showcase will be on Saturday, September 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lewis Library and Technology Center in the Steelworkers’ Auditorium located at 8437 Sierra Avenue. This event is FREE but seating is limited and available by ticket only beginning September 1, 2009 at the Josephine Knopf Senior Center. Tom Hatten will be the Master of Ceremony of this non-competitive showcase. Participants and guests will enjoy a fun afternoon of entertainment.
