What's Changed?
Vote By Mail Now Permanent - After its success in the 2020 General Election and the 2021 Gubernatorial Recall Election, the Legislature passed AB 37 which ensures every actively registered voter will be sent a vote-by-mail ballot with the option to return their ballot by mail, at a secure drop off location, or in person. Whichever option you chose, remember to sign your ballot before you return it!
Track Your Ballot - Never wonder where your vote is counted. You can track your vote-by-mail ballot by signing up at WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov to receive a text, email, or voice status alerts.
Four Ways To Vote
1. Vote By Mail (VBM) Ballots - every active registered voter will receive a mail ballot, which will be delivered to the USPS beginning May 9.
2. Ballot Drop Off Locations (Starting Monday, May 9).
Both locations will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 7.
