Beat the Heat at a Cooling Center

When the temperatures are predicted to be 100 degrees or higher, the Fontana Community Senior Center (16710 Ceres Ave.) and Heritage Neighborhood Center (7350 W. Liberty Pkwy) activate as cooling centers from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Time may vary upon temp).

Fontana Moves into the Orange Tier

Orange Tier

Effective April 7, a variety of institutions and businesses may now open to 50% capacity — a notable increase from the Red Tier’s limit of 25%. Some businesses, like bars and bowling alleys, can now reopen for the first time in over a year.

City Administrative Offices Reopen to the Public: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday

Lobbies of City Hall, Development Services Organization, Police Department, and Public Works are reopening to the public beginning Monday, March 1. Visitors are required to wear face coverings and will have temperatures taken upon entry.
